New-build lots and thin topsoil

A lot of Lavon housing has gone up in recent years, and new subdivisions here tend to hand you a graded lot with a shallow layer of soil over compacted clay. Grass struggles to root and water sits on the surface instead of soaking in.

We start by looking at what is actually under the turf. That usually means breaking up compaction in the beds, bringing in soil where the grade needs help, and setting planting depths so roots have somewhere to go rather than dying back in the first hot spell.

Fencing on open, wind-exposed ground

Lavon sits in open country near the lake, and there is often little between a back fence and the prevailing wind. Panels that are set shallow or spaced too wide start leaning within a couple of seasons.

When we build here we pay attention to post depth and post spacing, and we set concrete properly in the clay so the line holds. If you have an existing fence with a few failing posts rather than a failing fence, we will tell you that instead of quoting a full replacement.

A short drive from Royse City

We are based in Royse City, so Lavon is a straight run for our team along the 66 corridor. That matters for maintenance work, where turning up on a consistent schedule is most of the job.
